The BNP Paribas Nordic Open today announces a new partnership with Uber. As the tournament’s official mobility partner, Uber will help spectators get to and from the Royal Tennis Hall with ease, with a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone at the venue and exclusive ride offers during the event.

“We are very pleased to welcome Uber as a new partner. Travel to and from the Royal Tennis Hall has previously been a challenge, but with Uber on-site, we get a modern and accessible mobility solution that truly improves the experience for our spectators. This partnership is an important addition to our efforts to create the smoothest and most welcoming event possible,” says Rasmus Hult, CEO of the tournament.

“At Uber, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to enjoy the experiences they love. By providing a unique experience with dedicated pick-up and drop-off point at the Royal Tennis Hall, along with special offers for visitors, we’re helping fans focus on one of the most prestigious sporting events in the region — while we take care of the ride,” says Peter Löfstrand, Head of Nordics at Uber. During the tournament week, visitors will be able to use Uber’s special offers directly in the Uber app and be guided to a clearly marked pick-up and drop-off zone right next to the venue.

About Uber

Uber’s mission is to create opportunity through movement. We started in 2010 to solve a simple problem: how do you get access to a ride at the touch of a button? More than 64 billion trips later, we're building products to get people closer to where they want to be. By changing how people, food, and things move through cities, Uber is a platform that opens up the world to new possibilities. For more information, visit: Uber.com
