Wednesday offers several exciting matches featuring top-level tennis. From a Swedish perspective, the highlight of the day will be Leo Borg’s clash with the third-seeded Canadian Denis Shapovalov. Leo will need to play his very best tennis to advance in the tournament — something he might manage with the classic crowd support at the Royal Tennis Hall.

Another clearly interesting match will be the one between Norwegian Casper Ruud (second seed and currently ranked No. 12 in the world) and Marin Cilic from Croatia (formerly ranked No. 3 in the world). Ruud still sees a chance to reach the ATP Finals but needs to collect as many points as possible at the BNP Paribas Nordic Open.

In the other matches, Arthur Frey from England will first face Lorenzo Sonego from Italy. Frey is one of the players who advanced from the qualifiers to the main draw. In the second match, it’s Sebastian Korda from the USA — who played impressive tennis in his first match — against Kamil Majchrzak from Poland.

Tickets can be purchased on-site at the Royal Tennis Hall or online.
