Danish player Holger Rune was forced to retire from his semifinal against Ugo Humbert at 2-2 in the second set. Rune had taken the lead in the match after winning the first set 6-4, but was unfortunately injured during a rally.

In the final, Ugo Humbert will face the winner of tonight’s semifinal between Casper Ruud and Denis Shapovalov.


Alexander Erler and Robert Galloway Through to Doubles Final

First up on Centre Court on Saturday was the doubles match between the top-seeded Italian pair Simone Bolelli / Andrea Vavassori and Alexander Erler (Austria) / Robert Galloway (USA). Erler and Galloway won a very tight match after two tiebreaks, with the final score 7-6(4), 7-6(1). In the final, they will face the winners of the Saturday’s second semifinal between Vasil Kirkov / Bart Stevens and Adam Pavlasek / Jan Zielinski.
