Betsson becomes new main partner of the largest tennis tournament in the Nordic region, taking place October 12-20 at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm. Betsson thus strengthens its commitment and scope in sports sponsorship. In tennis, Betsson has previously had former world star Jonas Björkman as an ambassador and sponsored ATP tournaments in South America.

The BNP Paribas Nordic Open is owned and organized by the sports associations Salk, Stockholm Tennis Association, and KLTK. This year's competition will be broadcast on SVT and is the 55th since its inception in 1969.

"We are extremely proud to sponsor and support this classic tournament. We have sponsored ATP tournaments before, but it feels extra special in Sweden, where the company was founded over 60 years ago. We hope that through our support of the competition, as well as our odds on the participants and activities on site, to contribute to making the experience both more enjoyable and better for everyone," says Robin Olenius, PR Manager at Betsson.

As part of the sponsorship, Betsson will be visible during the matches, organize activities on site, and of course offer odds on all matches.

"We are very pleased to welcome Betsson as the new main partner to the BNP Paribas Nordic Open. This partnership marks an important milestone for our tournament, as Betsson's extensive experience in sports sponsorship will enhance the event's profile and reach. We look forward to the dynamic activities and offers that Betsson will bring to our fans and we are confident that this will make the experience even more engaging and memorable for everyone involved," says Rasmus Hult, CEO of BNP Paribas Nordic Open.

The new partnership is negotiated in collaboration with Spring Media.
